Preparing sports performances:

The process of preparing for sports shows requires taking into account factors that must be taken into account and based on them in order to ensure a successful show. These factors are:

  1. Clarity of the idea and purpose of the presentation.
  2. The different movements of the display.
  3. show place.
  4. Clothing .
  5. Music .
  6. installation of movements.
  7. Administrative and organizational aspects.

Clarity of the presentation idea and its purpose:

The sports show is not just new ideas presented to the viewers, it should be a display of a high level of movement art. The success of the show is judged by the audience's understanding of its content without the need for technical commentary to clarify this content.

Therefore, each part of the show must be called by its own name that expresses its effect, the tools used in it, or the meaning expressed.

Therefore, we must take into account the following in the presentation:

  • To take care of the aesthetic aspect that the audience tastes.
  • That the movements include all parts of the body in order for the training to achieve the refinement of the players’ bodies, and this is very important for spreading sports awareness and benefiting from it, especially in shows that require the participation of a large number.

  • The formations on the field should be easy to see from all directions.
  • It also participates in clarifying the idea of the display, the back panels or the so-called back wall of the stadium. These paintings contribute to helping the audience understand what is going on in the stadium and give the stadium a beautiful and attractive first place.
  • However, the disadvantage of this wall is that it occupies a large part of the stadium's stands and deprives the audience of it.

The different movements of the display:

Then the shows developed, and included shows of various kinds of sports activities, so there were shows for athletics, wrestling, judo, gymnastics and weapons, but the predominant nature of the shows is still exercises,

Therefore, the following must be taken into account when choosing display movements:

  • The presentation should include free exercises, exercises using tools, and exercises on equipment.
  • The gradation in the difficulty of skills should be taken into account until the ceremony ends with the highest skill level that can be presented.
  • That the exercises contain high stability on the tools, provided that these tools are light and easy to carry, preferably in the form of pipes that can be carried by a group of players and then move and install them easily to perform the skills required on them, then disassemble and carry them outside the show ground.
  • To take advantage of the movements of walking, running and partridge in the work of various forms of display.
  • That the movements of the show benefit the participants in terms of movement, education and aesthetics.
  • Movements should be consistent with the physiological, anatomical, educational and health foundations.
  • The movements should fit the age and gender of the players, and in this area the players can be divided

According to age and gender to:

  1. Stage from 6 to 10 years.
  2. The stage is from 11 to 14 years old.

  • It is preferable that the music accompanying them be reserved for the children and accompanied by singing.
  • But it is taken into account not to stress the child by singing and moving together, to ask the children outside the stadium into groups for boys and others for girls of equal numbers and distributed in the stadium in an aesthetic way in which it is exploited by changing the color and shape of the clothes for each group.
  • And with this stage, the atmosphere in which the show is performed must be taken into account.

The stage between 11: 14 years:

  • It is possible to choose more difficult movements than the previous one, and the movement should go with the rhythm of the music, but gender must be taken into account at this stage.
  • The movements of the rhythm are music, but gender must be taken into account at this stage.
  • Boys' movements tend to be violent, while girls tend to have calm and smooth movements.
  • And if boys and girls participate in the show, it is desirable that there be a dynamic response between the group of boys and the group of girls.
  • At this stage, various configurations and acrobatic movements can be made on devices such as the box or the Swedish seats.

Show place:

  • We must take into account the place that the audience will occupy, whether it is a sports stadium, club or hall.
  • And the square, circular or oval place gives the greatest opportunity to see the movements from both sides. Therefore, taste must be taken into account in the performance of the movement and its direction to the center of the audience.
  • The playing field can be covered with tartan or felt 12 mm thick or plastic with a thickness of 5 mm, and the latter is much easier to lift off the ground, but it harms the lawn because it prevents its breathing.
  • It is advisable for all players to participate in the show if the venue of the show is a stadium. In the theater performance, it is preferable that the participants be the smallest number that can express the topic.
  • In the case of displaying a group of small groups in a large place, we must pay attention to the wide range of movement so that it is clear on the ground, as is the case in rhythmic artistic exercises, and other groups can perform background movements that do not conflict with the rhythm, and other groups can perform Back movements do not conflict with the movement of small groups, but are given in response to the music or to the movement performed, helping to show the aspects of beauty in it.

Clothing:

The following must be observed in clothing:

Do not obstruct the player's movement.
It should be suitable for movement, for example for the movements of the equipment, it is preferable for the player or player to wear pants that are tight on the body, and for exercises, a swimsuit with a short skirt for girls.

In tennis, tennis clothes. As well as in arms, and this is very important with folk dances in which the clothes of this kind of folk dance must be worn.

- The color of the clothing should be appropriate for the stadium, for example, in the green stadium, the clothing is in color

  • the White.
  • yellow.
  • the Red.
  • light blue .

- It is taken into account that one color lengthens the player’s stature and makes him slimmer, unlike wearing two colors, which makes the player short, although it has an aesthetic effect in coloring the stadium.

- The presence of a strip on both sides of the dress for the player that shows her size is thinner than reality.

The dress can be made in two colors, a front color and a back color.

- Not to use the black color at a time when the light will change, unless it is required to hide the players and only show the used luminous tool.

Music:

There is more than one way to choose the right music for the show, including the following:

Compose the movements.
First, we bring a well-known musician to put appropriate music for these movements.
This is considered one of the most successful methods, but it faces many difficulties, including:

  • The financial aspect and the artist's demand is high for his composing music.
  • The lack of a musician who understands the movements in every town.

In Czechoslovakia, the physical education teacher and the musician meet together to make the movements step by step with appropriate music, and this has a very beautiful effect, as it expresses in the music the movement of its performer.

To choose a piece of music and then compose the movements on it, whether the music is popular or classical.
But here we must not delete part of the music or repeat part of it. Rather, the music must be complete with no repetition or lack of it, and the musical rules in it must be taken into account.

To compose movements and then search for suitable music as a cylinder or song, and this is the worst way and its result is always unsuccessful.
In the performance on a stage, it is taken into account that the accompanying music is a piano, violin, lute, or qanun - any instrument alone. As for the open space, the movements must be accompanied by a musical group.

You can also choose for the show popular or classical music, vocals, or a mixture of these music so that the show does not have a single tempo. For example, entering a march, then music suitable for each schedule in the concert, then other music for the end of the show, taking into account the following:

  • To have a music specialist so that he understands his specialty.
  • The movement must start directly on the music. Rather, it is desirable that there be an introduction before starting the movement, which may be two or four times, provided that the players understand that and try it more than once so that the start is unified for everyone.
  • There should be a continuity of the show, whether in music or in movements.

Movement assembly:

When placing the display, the following should be taken into account in the installation of movements:

  1. Sentence duration.
  2. Number of Players.
  3. Sentence exercises.

sentence duration:

It is recommended that the sentence last between 8-12 minutes, including entry and exit if it is performed in a large group. This period is appropriate because it is neither long nor short, and if it is longer than that, a great effort is required in teaching it. So that the public does not get bored..... and some countries increase this period to 25 minutes.
In one tool, but this requires constant training to prepare it.
For children, it is recommended that the duration be from four to six minutes, but for theaters, it is sufficient that the time be from 5 to 6 minutes.

Number of Players:

The appropriate number to work in the stadium ranges between 400: 800 players so that clear formations can be made free of crowding, because if the number in the stadium exceeds 800, the work in it will be more difficult, and the formation in it is very difficult to move from one place to another in the stadium and also difficult to design The formations and the way to reach them due to the great crowding by it.

When training, it is advisable to divide the group into units of no more than 40 and no less than 12. They are trained on the movements and formations of their own, and then these units meet in the club or stadium to make the group and final formations, and this division is very useful, especially in the presentations of the age stages. The different groups come together from different schools ... Training in the form of a unit facilitates its work in the school. Then these schools gather with their different units to perform collective formations and conclude the presentation.

As for the performance on the stage, it is recommended that the number range between 4: 12 players at most, taking into account the high skill in performing the movements, bearing in mind that the international limit is 6: 8 individuals.

Sentence exercises:

Sentence exercises are divided into:

  1. Entry and parking.
  2. Wholesale parts.
  3. The final formation.
  4. Exit .
Entry and parking:

The players must arrive at the start of the exercises at the same time so as not to distort the general formation.

wholesale parts:

The number of parts presented in the sports show after the players enter the field varies according to the age and level of the players. For children, two parts are sufficient. As for adults, it can be five or six parts, bearing in mind that the exercises can be repeated more than twice with young people, but with adults and those with a level Higher can make interconnected and non-repetitive movements.

We present these movements in symmetrical forms, and it is desirable that work in each formation should continue about 32 musical instruments, that is, half a minute, so that the spectator can enjoy the beauty of the formation, and for ease of access to the formation and how to stand in it until all players master the performance of these movements as one player in the stadium, taking into account in The formations are not crowded, especially in the modern formations, so that it appears in a beautiful tidy manner.

Final formation:

It is very important to highlight the occasion for which this celebration was held and to understand its purpose, and the final form can be of great importance in the presentation, but is considered one of its most important parts because it gives the final image that is imprinted in the memory of the spectators.

Therefore, the use of modern tools that can be installed at the end of the show give it strength, grandeur and splendor.

But the tools must be taken into account that they are carried to the stadium very quickly, and are also held quickly and with the movements of the players playing until they appear in the form of a surprise, as they fascinate the spectators and attract their attention, and the importance of these tools is that they give the player the opportunity to work at more than one height and form a hierarchical shape or The cake, and rockets, balloons or flags can be used to end the show, a strong ending that affected the spectators' hearts.

Exit:

It should differ from the entry formation as it is preferable to be done by running fast, taking care to raise the equipment used in the presentation and leave the playing field unblemished for the next presentation.

Organizational aspects:

It is one of the most important aspects that contribute to the success of the show

So the following should be taken care of:

  • Announcing the ceremony well in advance through the various media.
  • The participation of student leaders in the process of organizing and planning the venue for the celebration.
  • Make a list of the invited guests in sufficient time before the celebration and prepare their tickets, and it is desirable that the student leaders distribute these suits.
  • The type of tickets for the celebration, which should not exceed the number that the venue can bear so that the lack of space for all those present does not provoke the anger or boredom of those present.
